Joana Sus is a graphic designer and fashion illustrator. She works with ink, watercolour and graphic pen and creates intimate and minimalistic studies of clothed figures, strongly inspired by street photography and street fashion.

The artist's use of negative space and the lack of distinct facial features of her subjects is a way to create a feel of presence of a person rather than a true embodiment of flesh and skin. The artist's minimal drawings are not only a study of fashion itself but also a silent story of the people behind the clothes - mysterious passers-by each of whom has their own story hidden deep under the layers of fabric.
